History of the name “Americas”
An Italian navigator, Amerigo Vespucci was the first person who realized that the Spaniards did not arrive to Asia.
A German cartographer, Martin Waldseemüller was the first cartographer who drew a map of this other country. The History of America is the collective history of the peoples of the American continent, included the Antilles and other near islands. The historical events datable happen in the continent with many anticipation to the use of the writing, specially from the emergence of the civilization Caral towards 2600 B.C. and of the Olmec culture about 1500 B.C. during the Formative Period up to the present.

America Central: are the seven countries that belonged to the American Isthmus.
Countries: Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
Central America: means all America Central plus the Caribbean.
Countries: twenty-one countries of America Central and the Caribbean.

Anglo Americans speak English and French.

In Anglo America people are protestant because Anglo Americans separated of the Catholic Roman Church with the Protestant Reform of the 16th century as to the theological particular developments of the reformers.
Anglo America: Economy
In Anglo America, most of the people is richer. Anglo Americans are richer than Latin Americans.
Latin America: Language
In Latin America people speak Spanish and Portuguese. Spanish and Portuguese are the predominant languages of Latin America. Portuguese is spoken only in Brazil, the biggest and most populous country in the region. Spanish is the official language of most of the rest of the countries on the Latin American.
Latin America: Religion
In Latin America, they are catholic. The vast majority of Latin Americans are Christians, mostly Roman Catholics. About 71% of the Latin American population consider themselves Catholic.
